Nice looking box art, matching the previously released Vocaloid Figmas (Miku, the Kagamines, and Luka.).
As the winner of the poll made by GSC (with the result announced last April), there are quite a buzz. Even though I'm more interested with the 2nd place winner, I had quite a lot of expectation for Kaito. So, let's see if he's up for the game.
Sculpt wise, it's simple and clean. Though the paint could have been done a bit better, especially the blue trim on his coat.
As for the accessories, I expected more. He only comes with:
- A long scarf.
- 2 of his favorite ice cream.
- A powerful singing expression.
- A smiling expression wit his eyes closed.
- An extension piece for his stand (He doesn't really need it).
- A pair of pointing hand.
- A pair of wide-open palm.
- A pair of fist.
- A pair of gripping hand.
- And a pair of ice cream holding hand.
Both of his alternate expression are great looking. It definitely matches Kaito perfectly.
Ok, time to switch the scarf. The alternate scarf are quite impressive. While it does limit Kaito's head articulation, it's not a dead weight.
The tails on both of the scarves can move quite freely. Though it's best that you exercise caution when doing so.
His articulation are fairly decent. It's similar to that of Figma Koyomi, Shirou, and Touma.

Overall, Kaito is a decent figure. It's not the most enjoyable figure out there, but it's better than nothing.
